We have worked there long enough to know which scheme will hold — and which remains a story.
For two decades the Ateş family has joined construction, trade and capital between Germany, Türkiye and West Africa. What began as trades and supply lines is now a holding in Berlin: this is where the participations sit, and where every scheme is decided.
Africa is not a theme and not a trend for us. The continent is growing in cities, schools, roads and power — and that is where a carrier is often missing: one who appraises, finances and delivers on the ground. That is the line we have taken. Control in Berlin. Expertise in Türkiye. Construction in Africa.
West Africa
Primary school
in Akoupé.
In the municipality of Akoupé, Côte d’Ivoire, a primary school with 24 classrooms is taking shape. The site includes a canteen, library, computer room, sports pitches as well as water and solar supply.
Carried by Ateş GmbH in Berlin, delivered through ATES GROUP SARL in Abidjan. Planned construction period: ten to fourteen months.

Our way
of working.
Four principles that apply to every scheme — whatever its size, its field or its country.
Appraise first, commit second
We do not commit to a scheme before the client, the basis of award, the location and the scope are settled. A letter of intent is not a project. Where the details are missing, we say so — even if the scheme then does not come about.
Separate control from delivery
Funds and participations are decided by the holding in Berlin. Construction is carried out by the operating companies and the partner firms. That separation protects both sides: the decision stays traceable, the delivery stays professional.
Settle roles before work starts
Who supplies, who builds, who finances and who is liable for what is set out contractually before the first piece of work is done. Clarifying responsibilities after the fact is the most common reason building schemes fail.
Account for the funds
The delivering companies report progress, use of funds and material events to the holding. Shareholders and participating investors receive the same basis — no separate presentation.
