The field
Building is the visible part of the group. It is also the part that most often meets the public: a school, a road, a hall, a network. That is why construction cannot be told as a photograph of one site. It is a method that can be repeated.
ATES GROUP SARL is the company that builds. Its purpose covers development and building construction, roads and civil works, energy and networks, and schemes with public bodies. What it does not execute itself, it awards to examined partners. The client still has one counterpart.
In West Africa that counterpart stands in front of the municipality or the ministry. In Türkiye, partners such as Çağla Group, LaMar Yapı and eKose bring trades, engineering and material. Control — programme, money, claims — remains with the group and is read in Berlin.
A current scheme is the primary school in Akoupé: twenty-four classrooms, canteen, library, sports grounds, water and solar. It is a full public building, not a slogan. It is also one job. The holding is larger than that job, and that job is larger than a ceremony.
Quality on a public site is not a mood. It is drawings at the agreed scale, a specification, tests, and a handover that the user can sign. Safety, access and the running of water and power are part of the works, not extras promised at the opening.
This is how we work. We take a mandate we can staff. We name the partners. We report progress and the use of funds. We do not start a second site to decorate the first. Further schemes wait for a client and a basis that can be examined.
Governments and authorities
Ministries of education, health, public works and energy, prefectures, mayors and technical departments are the ordinary clients or counterparts of infrastructure. They award, they grant land, they inspect, they take over. A contractor that cannot work with that rhythm should not bid.
We prepare for inspection. Site diaries, material certificates, as-built drawings and the punch list are kept as if a new official will arrive who was not at the first meeting. That is how a public building survives a change of desk.
Community meetings and ceremonies have their place. They are not the contract. The contract is the programme, the price, the standard and the date of handover. We keep the two apart so that neither is asked to do the work of the other.
Services in detail
Building construction
Houses, halls and public buildings, including schools and mixed-use schemes. The programme, the structure and the finishes are in the drawings before the first pour.
Civil works
Roads, earthworks, drainage and the ground that a building needs. Civil and building files are coordinated so that one does not surprise the other on site.
Energy and networks
Power, solar, water and the lines that serve the plot. A public building without a running network is not handed over.
Public schemes
Work with state and municipal bodies: award, land, inspection, acceptance. The operating company stands in front of the authority. Berlin reads the report.
Partners on the trades
Examined firms take packages they can staff. They bring capacity and, in part, material. They do not become the client’s contractor in our place.
Handover
Tests, manuals, keys, outstanding items and the signature of the user. A site is finished when that page exists, not when the last guest has left the opening.
